Physically Challenged

Train and Provide Suitable Employment to Physically Challenged Persons – 98.

OGTC in association with NGOs like AADI / BALLON has identified the Physically Challenged persons and provide training to them for employment in the Garment Industry keeping in view the nature of individual’s disability. After the training OGTC ensures that these people obtain jobs in OGTC members companies. In the last two years more than 98 Physically Challenged Persons have been trained and employed.

Employee Health

Health Checkup Camps for Employees Good Health.

Most of the workers in Garment industry especially in the NCR are migratory workers. They do not have the required facility and awareness on the health issues. OGTC with the association of AEPC, Lions Service Trust organises regular health camps in the factory premises with trained multi-specialty medical professionals. Till date over 24,000 workers have been able to benefit through 250 health camps

Women Empowerment

Below, poverty line woman have been trained by OGTC in batches of 10 to 15 persons in the tailoring work The women are identified through NGO’s and training help is received through ATDC which is run by AEPC. These trained women are provided employment in OGTC members’ factory. OGTC is committed to accelerate these initiatives in the coming years
